Discovery 202 is a high-capacity onshore drilling rig in the fleet of Charlvon Energy Services Limited (CESL), with a strong record of safe, efficient, and reliable performance across Nigeria’s onshore oil and gas assets. The rig commenced active operations in 2023 and has since supported multiple drilling, completion, and workover campaigns for leading indigenous operators.
Operations & Project Experience
Since deployment, Discovery 202 has successfully executed nine (9) well operations for First Hydrocarbon Nigeria / NPDC and SEPLAT Energy, spanning top-hole drilling, full-depth drilling, drilling & completion, and workover services. The rig has operated across key assets including:

- Sapele Field (OML 41) – Delta State
- Oben Field (OML 4) – Edo State
- Okporhuru Field (OML 38) – Delta State
