Kenechukwu Ajie is a commercially astute business development and project management professional with more than a decade of embedded experience in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
He combines technical sales, procurement and project coordination with deep knowledge of EPC/EPIC tendering, turnkey drilling operations and vendor registration processes, ensuring strict compliance with NCDMB, NIPEX and DPR requirements. Comfortable navigating both operator and contractor environments, he translates technical specifications into bankable commercial propositions and mobilises cross-functional teams to execute complex bids and delivery programmes.
Throughout his career, he has led the preparation and successful submission of multi-million-dollar bids, secured strategic OEM partnerships and closed high-value contracts with major operators including Aradel Energy, Chevron, Seplat and Rainoil. He has driven procurement for landmark projects — NLNG Train 7, Dangote Refinery and the Egina FPSO — delivering measurable cost savings and improved delivery metrics through disciplined sourcing and contract negotiation. He is also a member of NSE, COREN, PMI and SPE and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Illinois.
